The one Family - We are Us
I have often mentioned the rich cultural diversification of London. It's the best of London. The series of images on these pages I hope will give some insight into a vibrant city where artistic cultural traditions from all over the world thrive. We are one people with and incredible diversification of creative thought. The African Elephant is larger than the Asian Elephant but it is still an Elephant. We all came out of Africa around 200,000 years ago and nearly died out 70,000 years ago. Leaving scientists to believe only between 1000-10,000 breeding couples survived. The Toba catastrophe theory and the human bottleneck hypothesis posit that around 70,000 years ago the human species almost went extinct due to the eruption of the Toba supervolcano Sumatra. There is in fact substantial evidence for the eruption through layers of ash found worldwide. It is believed that the world became mostly uninhabitable. We are all cousins (how do you think that we re-established our species) consistently having family rows over insignificant issues that have no beneficial evolutionary relevance to our development unity or survival, as a species, in fact mostly detrimental. We all live together precariously on an insignificant rock traveling at 107,000 Km/h around another rock that that is 5600 Celsius on the surface and a core of 15 million Celsius. Don't try landing on it, even the "Baldrick theory" that it could be attempted at night is still to be proven!  Surely that makes all our political dogma and brainless wars look ridiculous. All we should be doing is looking after each other, making life survivable for all the family members and all the planets species and enjoy the rich exciting art and food of our cultural differences !
