Canal World - Canals and Narrowboats
Images taken around City Road Lock London on the Regent's Canal in Islington.
The lock is constantly in use, the Canal runs from Limehouse Basin in the East of the City to Paddington Basin in the West where it links with the Grand Union Canal. The Canal Grand Union canal runs all the way to Birmingham. The canals of Britain are still extremely active mainly with private and tourist Narrowboat activity. Many people live along the canals in Narrow and Widebeam canal boats. Canal life and activity is what I have tried to show in these images
